Asia Young Scientist Badge Competition [AYSBC]

Asia Young Scientist Badge Competition (AYSBC) at Science Centre Singapore is a flagship STEM programme designed to inspire primary and secondary school students across the Asia-Pacific region. More than a competition, AYSBC offers a platform for students to explore science through structured learning, hands-on activities, and real-world STEM challenges.

Inspired by the Young Scientist Badge Scheme (YSBS), AYSBC emphasizes curiosity, self-directed learning, and creativity. Through selected badge pathways, students engage in practical experiments, interactive tasks, and project-based learning that build strong scientific foundations and critical thinking skills.

Bringing together participants from ASEAN countries and beyond, AYSBC fosters cross-border collaboration and celebrates the next generation of young scientists through competitions, workshops, innovation showcases, and guided learning experiences.
